Metrograph
A visual identity system that treats cinema as memory — retrievable, reactivated, re-seen.

Brand Identity | Motion Design | Web Design | Creative Coding | Campaign

Metrograph is an independent cinema located in the Lower East Side of New York and a continuously operating archive of moving images.

This project reframes "screening" as "retrieval." Films are no longer simply watched. They are reactivated with each showing.

Visually, the "M" is built as a variable frame system, functioning like a viewfinder that generates new perspectives across different contexts. It is at once a pictorial structure and a mode of seeing.

Through the constant recomposition of frames and the shifting of viewpoints, the viewer is invited to move through the image, forming their own path and their own connection to cinematic memory.

Vibe Coding & Interactive SystemThis motion uses vibe coding to extend the identity into a multi-media experience.
The website functions as a personal archive, where memories are retrieved through gesture—selecting fragments from a curated collection.

Campaign Identity: Monthly Spotlight
A monthly spotlight on a legendary performer, featuring a curated selection of films that shaped their screen legacy.

COACHELLA
A visual system that translates music into heat, building, intensifying, and radiating across the desert.

Brand Identity | Typography
Coachella is a music festival set in the desert, where music, art, and culture converge.
Inspired by its extreme landscape, I developed a flame-based typographic system that translates music into heat.

Music ignites the environment, transforming it into a burning experience of sound and emotion. This “heat” is not only physical, but deeply emotional.

Bite Burger
A visual system that transforms ingredients into characters, centered on the mark of a bite.

Brand Identity | Illustration | Character System | Campaign Design
The bite becomes a unifying gesture, symbolizing rhythm, desire, sharing, and satisfaction within urban life.

Through custom characters and illustration, each ingredient is transformed into a distinct personality, forming a cohesive IP-driven system.
The identity merges humor, urban culture, and bold visual language—turning everyday food into expressive figures that reflect the vibrant pulse of the city.

“Every bite is a different flavor.”

Campaign Identity: CITY BITE
CITY BITE is a social campaign built around the Bite Burger character exploring NYC, one neighborhood at a time. From Time Square to Chinatown, the burger becomes a guide through the city's flavor landscape.

The campaign transforms the brand character into an urban navigator. Following the burger through the city, audiences are invited to choose their own flavor route, turning passive viewers into active participants. Every stop is a different bite. Every bite is a different flavor.

Dear Insanity…
A type-driven album identity exploring bipolar duality through tension, contrast, and fragmentation.

Brand Identity | Typography | Web Design
Dear Insanity is a type-only album design system for DPR IAN that visualizes bipolar duality through a black-and-white visual language.

Through distortion, hierarchy, and typographic tension, the system expresses emotional conflict, coexistence, and psychological instability, transforming type into both structure and emotion.

Whitney Museum
A modular type-driven identity that evolves with the museum.

Brand Identity | Typography | Campaign Design
This project reimagines the Whitney Museum’s identity through a custom modular type system inspired by its movable gallery architecture.

Built from geometric units, the typography expands, contracts, and reconfigures like spatial structures. Applied across exhibition graphics, posters, and environmental signage, the system adapts to each show while remaining recognizable, positioning the identity as a living, evolving framework.

Campaign Identity: Whitney Biennial 2026
An identity system that stretches horizontally, mirroring the shifting nature of space, exhibitions, and contemporary art.

Primo Posto
An Italian restaurant reimagined through Futurism and gesture.

Brand Identity |  Art Direction
Primo Posto is an Italian restaurant in Hong Kong named after “The First Place.”
Its identity blends Milanese charm with Italian futurism, featuring a dynamic “P” logo built from layered linework and a system of gesture-inspired graphics. A bold three-color palette brings rhythm and warmth, creating a vibrant and recognizable brand across all touchpoints.

MAMA TIGER
A Thai restaurant identity redefined through the symbolism of the tiger.

Brand Identity |  Art Direction
Mama Tiger is a Thai casual dining brand that redefines traditional restaurant imagery. Centered around the symbolic power of the tiger, the identity expresses strength, vitality, and cultural depth, creating a bold and distinctive presence in a competitive market.

CARRYON
A Hong Kong film-inspired street food brand, bringing kung fu characters to life through a bold plastic bag identity system.

Brand Identity | Illustration | Character System
CARRYON is a plastic bag brand inspired by the fast-paced rhythm of old Hong Kong street food.

Built around the cadence of queue, order, bag, hand-off, go, the identity transforms low-cost packaging into a visual system that prioritizes speed, instant recognition, and modular reuse. Kung fu characters carrying plastic bags drive the visual energy, while the Chinese character 袋 (bag), rendered in a calligraphic typeface, translates cultural memory into a bold and rhythmic graphic language.
